Program Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is for RNs with an Associate Degree (ADN) or an Associate of Science (ASN) in Nursing degree who wish to earn the BSN degree to become managers, leaders, or work in public health, VA, Armed Services. The emphasis of this program is to enhance RNs knowledge and skills in evidence-based nursing practice, global healthcare systems and leadership and management as well as care of multi-lingual, multi-ethnic, multi-generational populations. For those who also have an ADN/ASN and an AA degree, the program is 30 credits and may be completed in one calendar year. For those only with the ADN or the ASN, the program may include additional undergraduate credits.

Admission Requirements

- Florida Licensed Registered Nurse

- 2.75 Cumulative GPA from ASN or Diploma Nursing Program (accredited by CCNE or ACEN)

- Minimum 60 transferable lower division college credits (including University Core Curriculum and Nursing Prerequisites)

- Associate in Arts (AA) from a Florida state system college or non-nursing Bachelor’s degree in another field from a regionally accredited institution (required with Non-Regionally accredited ASN) or meet Core Curriculum Requirements.
