Program Description

Statistics is an integral part of every field. Virtually every discipline uses statistical data analysis to draw conclusions. The undergraduate program in statistics is designed to teach students how to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Graduating students will have the necessary job skills for employment in a variety of fields. However, the courses are rigorous so that students are well prepared to pursue a graduate degree in statistics, should they choose to.

Admission Requirements

1. Students entering FIU as Freshmen or as a Transfer student with less than 60 transfer credits
