Program Description
The Recreation and Sport Management undergraduate curriculum offers professional preparation programs designed to prepare students for employment throughout the leisure service delivery system. The program is oriented towards direct services, supervisory, and management employment opportunities. A student may elect to gain competencies in the subplan area of Parks Management.
Admission Requirements
1. Students entering FIU as Freshmen or as a Transfer student with less than 60 transfer credits
Admissions criteria are the same as the general FIU criteria for students entering with fewer than 60 approved credits. Click here for the details.
o A minimum lower-division GPA of 2.00 or better on a 4.0 scale.
2. Transfer students entering FIU with 60 or more transfer credits
Admissions criteria are the same as the general FIU criteria for students entering with 60 or more approved credits. Click here for the details.
o A minimum lower-division GPA of 2.30 or better on a 4.0 scale.
