Program Description

The BA in Global Studies is designed to prepare students for careers that require an applied and/or theoretical knowledge of the processes driving globalization. Students earning a Global Studies BA will be equipped with strengths in a minimum of three fields of study (Anthropology, Geography and Sociology), a thematic focus, and an area focus. Knowledge of the cultural, political, economic and environmental dimensions of globalization, coupled with skills in social science research methods and theory are increasingly critical for many careers.
